A school district in the Florissant, MO area is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to serve early childhood students during the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to support young learners across multiple nearby communities, including Bridgeton, Berkeley, Ferguson, Jennings, and surrounding locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Physical Therapy services to students with a caseload of 30-60, depending on individual needs
  • Develop individualized goals and contribute to student progress through quarterly evaluations
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Create and manage therapy schedules aligned with student requirements
  • Offer consultation and collaborate with school staff to support student success

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current licensure and certification as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working with early childhood student populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy interventions within a school setting
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Organizational skills to manage and document progress and scheduling efficiently

Work Schedule and Details:

  • Full-time position (36 hours per week; 7 hours per day)
  • Contract dates: ASAP through May 22, 2026
  • Location: Early childhood school setting in the Florissant, MO area (specific site confidential)
