This opportunity is for a part-time Physical Therapist position supporting early childhood education programs. The role focuses on providing therapeutic services to preschool-aged children, promoting their developmental progress within an early learning environment.
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Position Type: Part-time Contract
Duration: Late February through May 29, 2026
Schedule: Approximately 4 hours per week (half-day sessions)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services tailored to preschool-aged children
- Collaborate with early childhood educators and caregivers to support children’s developmental goals
- Assess motor skills and design individualized treatment plans
- Document progress and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations related to early intervention services
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with appropriate state credentials
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in early childhood settings
- Strong knowledge of developmental milestones and therapeutic techniques for preschool-aged children
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
