Physical Therapist - School Setting in Jersey City, NJ

A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled physical therapist eager to make a positive impact on middle school students. This role is based near Jersey City, NJ, and is set to begin as soon as possible, running through the end of the school year—and may extend beyond that period.

You’ll provide specialized PT services to a 6th-grade student, dedicating a total of 2 hours per week. This includes 1 hour of direct therapy and 1 hour of indirect support. While sessions are preferably held on Wednesdays from 3:30–4:30 PM for direct services, there is flexibility to discuss other day and time options.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current New Jersey PT license
• Possess NJ Department of Education Certification
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized physical therapy interventions and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support student goals
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for both direct and indirect services
• Provide consultation and resource strategies to staff and parents
