An engaging opportunity is available for professionals specializing in physical therapy within an educational setting. This contract position is designed for dedicated individuals eager to support K-12 students through a focused summer program.

Location: Kingston, PA
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:45 AM to 12:15 PM, from June 24, 2025, to August 1, 2025 (off the week of July 4th).
Duration: 10.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' physical abilities and needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEPs (Individualized Education Programs).
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students in K–12 settings.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' physical development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and offer recommendations for adaptive equipment and assistive devices.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapist licensure through the Pennsylvania Department of State.
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
