A Part-Time Physical Therapist position is available to provide maternity leave coverage within a dynamic K-12 school district in the Kansas City, KS area. The contract spans from March 6, 2026, through May 22, 2026.

This role involves delivering physical therapy services across multiple schools throughout the district. The therapist will be responsible for coordinating and managing their own schedule to meet the needs of students at various locations. Schools covered during this assignment include but are not limited to: Gloria Willis, Hazel Grove, Noble Prentis, New Chelsea, West Park, Quindaro, Lindbergh, Silver City, John F Kennedy, Arrowhead, Central Middle School, Argentine, Lowell Brune, Eisenhower, Rosedale, Carl Bruce, Caruthers, Claude Huyck, and Eugene Ware.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide school-based physical therapy services to K-12 students under maternity leave coverage
  • Travel between multiple school sites within the district
  • Develop and maintain therapy schedules independently
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student needs and goals
  • Document therapy sessions and progress as required

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Kansas
  • Experience working within school settings preferred
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and travel between schools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Location: Kansas City, KS, encompassing multiple district schools
