We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to support a K-12 school setting in Litchfield, MN, for the current school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' physical development and overall well-being within an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and interventions tailored to the individual needs of K-12 students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with relevant experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs within a school setting
- Commitment to promoting students' physical independence and participation in school activities
Position Details:
- Full-time contract for the current school year (CSY)
- 37.5 hours per week, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
- Location to be determined within the Litchfield, MN area
