A part-time Physical Therapist is needed to provide onsite services within a K-8 school setting in Lowell, MA, with travel required to multiple campuses in Lawrence, MA. This contract position runs through June 17, 2026, offering flexible scheduling options and a manageable caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to seven students ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to implement individualized therapy plans based on student IEP goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled, with timing coordinated to fit the agreed workdays.
  • Utilize available therapy equipment to support student progress.
  • Maintain documentation in the ESPed IEP platform.
  • Adhere to all mandated background screening requirements, including fingerprints and CORI checks.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience working in educational settings preferred.
  • Ability to travel between sites with mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills for coordinating schedules and meeting participation.

Position Details:

  • Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week.
  • Flexible daily schedule, with service hours starting no earlier than 8 AM and ending by 3 PM.
  • Onsite work only, requiring travel to various campuses within Lawrence, MA.
  • Students served do not require wheelchairs or adaptive equipment.
  • Mileage reimbursement available for travel between school locations.
