Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physical Therapy
  • Active Ohio state PT license
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals
  • Commitment to supporting student mobility, participation, and functional independence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students, tailoring strategies according to IEPs and unique student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Consult with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive classroom environments
  • Monitor and document student progress, maintaining compliance with school and state regulations
  • Offer guidance and education to staff and families regarding mobility and adaptive equipment
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on accommodations and interventions
