Physical Therapist - School Setting in Mifflintown, PA

A certified Physical Therapist with experience in school settings is sought for a per diem contract position serving Huntingdon County, PA. This role focuses on delivering school-based physical therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) 2026 program at two closely located sites within the county.

Location: Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania (two nearby school sites)

Schedule & Caseload:

• June 23, 2026 – July 16, 2026 (4 weeks)
  • Serve 4 students
  • Deliver two sessions of 30 minutes over 4 weeks
  • Provide therapy twice per 4 weeks for 30 minutes each
  • One session weekly for 45 minutes
  • One session weekly for 30 minutes
• June 22, 2026 – August 3, 2026 (6 weeks)
  • Serve 1 student with session times to be determined

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person physical therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student functional goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and PDE requirements.
• Engage in ongoing assessment and adjustment of therapy plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license meeting Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) regulations.
• Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to commit to an in-person role and work across two nearby school sites.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
