A physical therapy professional is needed to provide PT services in a K-12 school setting in Montesano, WA. This contract position runs from September 3, 2025, through June 16, 2026, with a commitment of 20 hours per week. The caseload will include students from preK through age 22, with assignments tailored to align with the therapist’s strengths and areas of expertise. This role is onsite and requires working within the school environment to support students’ physical therapy needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid license to practice physical therapy
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably K-12
- Knowledge of school-based physical therapy protocols and practices
- Ability to tailor therapy assignments based on individual student needs and strengths
- Strong collaboration skills for working with educators and interdisciplinary teams
Location:
- Montesano, WA — Onsite position in a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy evaluations, interventions, and documentation for students requiring services
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans according to student IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Monitor and report on student outcomes regularly
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to educational and therapeutic standards
