The role is set to commence with a paid orientation on August 4-5, leading into the school year that runs from August 18, 2025, to May 29, 2026.
Location: Joliet, IL
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate student participation in classroom activities, focusing on fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care abilities.
- Modify tasks and environments to cater to individual student needs.
- Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as required.
- Produce clear and comprehensive reports based on student assessments and observations.
- Develop and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations.
- Collaborate with parents and colleagues to discuss student progress and necessary support.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois state license or qualification to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset.
- Flexibility and problem-solving abilities to adapt to changing needs.
