Physical Therapist - School Setting in Saint Charles, MO

A physical therapist opportunity is available within a K-12 school setting providing services to students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This contract position is located in Saint Charles, MO, and will last for the duration of the school year.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing physical therapy services two days per week, with flexible scheduling options
• Serving approximately 30 students directly, with a mix of weekly and monthly visits
• Offering consultation services for additional students on a monthly or quarterly basis
• Supervising the physical therapy assistant (PTA), who will be on maternity leave at the start of the year, resulting in a temporarily increased workload
• Collaborating with school staff and families to support student progress and goals

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist with experience in both healthcare and school-based settings
• Ability to manage a caseload and provide direct therapy as well as consultation services
• Strong supervisory skills to oversee PTA responsibilities during maternity leave
• Flexible availability to accommodate varied student schedules and clinic needs
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working within a school environment
