A full-time Physical Therapist position is available to support K-12 students in a Missouri school district for the 2025/2026 school year. This contract role requires delivering quality physical therapy services to students while collaborating closely with educators and families to support individual educational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to students based on individual needs and goals
- Develop and update goals aligned with students’ abilities and IEP objectives
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and communicate progress quarterly
- Conduct evaluations and document student progress consistently
- Create and manage an effective therapy schedule
- Offer consultation to school staff regarding students’ physical therapy needs
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Missouri
- Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings
- Ability to manage caseloads of 30-60 students per week
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and educational therapy requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Saint Louis, MO
Job Duration: Contract through May 22, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week (7 hours per day), starting ASAP
