Physical Therapist - School Setting in State College, PA

A part-time, onsite position is available to support K-12 students in a school setting. This role is itinerant, providing specialized services across multiple grade levels within the district. The assignment is full time and runs for the entire school year on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver instructional or therapeutic services to K-12 students as assigned
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to meet student needs
• Travel between multiple school locations as needed within the district
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in professional development and team meetings

Qualifications:

• Relevant licensure or certification in the specialized field (e.g., physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, etc.)
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to different school environments and student needs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for itinerant duties
