This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist to provide specialized support to K-12 students within a school setting in Tacoma, WA. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about pediatric physical therapy and focused on helping children achieve their developmental and mobility goals throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and interventions tailored to the educational environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide professional recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy required
  • Active State Physical Therapist License
  • Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to foster multidisciplinary teamwork
