An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to support students in a K-12 setting located in Hayden, ID. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing student mobility and overall well-being through tailored therapeutic interventions. The role involves working closely with a diverse caseload, providing essential therapies that foster physical development and assist in overcoming barriers to learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 42 students, focusing on those who require additional support due to mobility challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to implement effective strategies that promote student success.
  • Track student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Engage in school-based activities and develop resources that encourage physical fitness and well-being among students.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Idaho.
  • Experience working in a school setting, preferably with a K-12 caseload.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to manage a diverse range of physical therapy needs and create inclusive treatment plans.
