An opportunity has emerged for a skilled Physical Therapist to provide services in a K-12 setting located in Rathdrum, Idaho. This contract position offers the chance to directly impact the lives of students through targeted therapy, supporting their physical development and educational journey.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' physical needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's requirements.
  • Provide direct therapy to a caseload of 42 students, with 35 receiving regular therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to each student's care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights regarding physical therapy goals and achievements.

Qualifications:

  • Valid physical therapy license in Idaho.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and adapt therapy plans based on individual student needs.
  • Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all students.
