Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) | Gadsden, Arizona

A full-time Physical Therapy Assistant position is available in an elementary school setting, supporting students from kindergarten through 8th grade. This contract role lasts through the current school year, offering the opportunity to assist with student evaluations and contribute to their physical development and participation.

Location:

• Yuma, AZ (Onsite position only)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in evaluating students’ gross motor development skills
• Support assessment of students’ functional capabilities and classroom environments
• Develop recommendations to optimize student participation based on evaluations
• Work with a K-8 itinerant caseload

Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
• IVP fingerprint clearance card mandatory
• Experience working in school settings preferred
• Ability to conduct functional evaluations and understand student needs
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with educators and therapists
