Registered Behavior Technician in Brazoria, TX

A full-time opportunity is available for a professional skilled in behavioral support to work with high school students in a 1:1 behavioral setting in the Bay City area, near Wharton and Lake Jackson, TX. This role requires experience supporting students with behavioral needs in a structured educational environment and the ability to work under BCBA supervision (must be arranged independently, as it is not provided by the district). The position runs through the end of the 2025-2026 school year and is ideal for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Para with a strong background in behavior intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized behavioral support to high school students in a 1:1 setting
• Implement behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
• Monitor student progress and document behavior data accurately
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to support positive student outcomes
• Maintain a professional and supportive classroom environment

Qualifications:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or experience as a Behavior Para specializing in behavioral interventions
• Previous experience working directly with students exhibiting challenging behaviors in a school or professional setting
• Ability to work under BCBA supervision; candidates must secure supervision independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

• Bay City, Texas, with assignments possibly supporting schools within approximately 75 miles south of Houston, including Wharton and Lake Jackson
