An urgent contract opportunity is available for a Male Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or experienced Behavioral Paraprofessional to provide one-on-one support for an 11th-grade male student with behavioral needs. This position is based in Garland, TX, within a high school setting, and is for the current school year (CSY).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized 1:1 behavioral support to a high school student with specialized needs
- Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collaborate with school staff to promote positive student outcomes and skill development
- Maintain accurate data collection and documentation of behavioral progress
- Exhibit professionalism in a school environment and effectively manage challenging behaviors
Qualifications:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred; candidates with extensive behavior paraprofessional experience considered
- Experience working directly with students in school settings, particularly 1:1 support roles
- Familiarity with students requiring skill-based behavior interventions
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed behavioral protocols
This position is a contract role requiring immediate placement. Candidates will undergo a brief prescreening process prior to district submission to ensure alignment with district standards.
