A school in Greenfield, MA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students primarily in a 4th grade building, with age ranges generally between 5 to 10/11 years old. This is a contract position within a school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral support to students to promote positive behaviors and academic engagement.
- Collect and document data related to student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support individualized student needs.
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Experience working with children in elementary school settings, especially within the 5 to 11 age range.
- Ability to follow detailed behavior plans and collect accurate data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and staff.
