A full-time position is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in an upper elementary autism spectrum disorder (ASD) classroom serving students in grades 2 through 5. This contract role spans the current school year and is based in Hudsonville, MI.
Ideal candidates will hold an active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and have experience providing behavior support in educational settings. Responsibilities include implementing behavior and Positive Behavior Support Plans, delivering individualized support to students, and assisting with toileting and personal care as needed. This role is critical in fostering positive outcomes for students with ASD by applying evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active RBT certification through BACB
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 2-5) in an ASD classroom
- Proficiency in implementing individualized behavior support and Positive Behavior Support Plans
- Ability to assist with toileting and personal care in a professional, respectful manner
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators and families
