A middle school in Pasco, WA, is seeking a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students through contracted services for the upcoming school year. This role involves implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to promote positive behavioral changes and support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one and group behavior interventions aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collect accurate and timely data on student progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies
- Assist in developing behavior plans and progress reports
- Maintain confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines in all interactions
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working in a school or educational setting, preferably with middle school-aged children
- Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and data collection methods
