A full-time position is available to support a 1st grade student with social-emotional and self-regulation needs in an elementary school setting located in Pawtucket, RI. This is a contract role for the upcoming school year, offering 37.5 hours per week in a 1:1 support capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to a student with social-emotional and self-regulation challenges.
- Utilize behavior intervention strategies to promote positive behavior and classroom engagement.
- Collect, record, and analyze behavioral data accurately to inform ongoing intervention plans.
- Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to implement individualized student goals.
- Maintain clear communication regarding student progress and behavior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in data collection and behavior management techniques.
- Ability to apply behavior intervention plans effectively in a school environment.
- Willingness to support a young student’s social-emotional development and self-regulation skills.
- Candidates with experience as a behavior aide will be considered if they meet the required expertise in behavior management and data recording.
