Seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with experience in K-12 educational settings for a contract position in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports students with behavioral challenges by implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Behavior Specialist. The assignment runs for the full school year (CSY), providing an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with behavioral needs
  • Collect and document data on student behaviors to track progress and inform strategies
  • Collaborate closely with behavior specialists, teachers, and support staff to support student success
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment promoting student growth and independence
  • Assist in conducting skill-building activities and reinforce desired behaviors
  • Follow ethical and professional guidelines as outlined by behavioral health standards

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential in good standing
  • Experience working under supervision of a Behavior Specialist in K-12 schools
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and behavior management strategies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within an educational team
  • Patience, empathy, and commitment to helping children achieve their potential
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and use data to guide interventions

Location:

  • Based in Phoenix, Arizona with work onsite in a public or private K-12 school setting
