A K-12 school in the Port Angeles, WA area is seeking two Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for full-time positions during the 2025-2026 school year. This contract opportunity involves working directly with students to support their behavioral and developmental needs through evidence-based interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to students in various settings within the school community.
- Teach and reinforce communication, social, and daily living skills tailored to individual student goals.
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Use positive reinforcement strategies to promote desirable behaviors and reduce challenges.
- Collaborate with educators and other professionals to support the holistic development of students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification is required.
- Experience working with children and young adults in educational settings preferred.
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and patience when working with diverse learners.
Location:
- Positions are based in Gardiner, WA, serving a local school district within the Port Angeles area.
