Registered Nurse School Setting in Chicago, IL

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in a high school setting located in Chicago, IL. This role offers a contract for the current school year (CSY) and involves providing comprehensive nursing care to meet the health needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing services to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 plans.
• Address general nursing needs for the student population, including care for sick children.
• Collaborate with school staff to support overall student health and wellness.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
• Respond to medical emergencies with professionalism and timely intervention.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a high school setting.
• Familiarity with IEP and 504 accommodations related to healthcare.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and educational staff.
• Ability to manage multiple nursing responsibilities throughout the school day.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM.
• Position based in Chicago, IL at a high school.
