A part-time Registered Nurse position is available to support a young student in a school setting in Cottonwood, AZ. This opportunity is ideal for an RN with experience in providing direct nursing care in educational environments, specifically performing one-on-one duties with a focus on specialized respiratory care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized nursing support for a Pre-K student, approximately 3 years old
- Perform trach and suctioning procedures as required
- Monitor the student’s health status and respond promptly to any medical needs
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure the student’s safety and well-being
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with policies and regulations
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
- Competence in trach care and suctioning techniques
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong observational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Work Schedule:
- Part-time contract position
- Monday through Friday mornings, with Wednesdays off
- Approximately 12-14 hours per week
