School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Cranston, Rhode Island

A Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in school nursing is needed to provide dedicated 1:1 support for an elementary student. This contract position is located in Cranston, RI, and will follow the current school year calendar.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering individualized nursing care and health support to an elementary student in a school setting
• Collaborating with educators, families, and healthcare providers to ensure the student’s health needs are met throughout the school day
• Monitoring and documenting the student's health status and interventions
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Responding promptly to health emergencies and providing first aid as necessary

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with school nurse experience preferred
• Ability to work 1:1 with an elementary-aged student
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work during school hours under a contract aligned with the academic calendar
• Knowledge of pediatric health care and school health protocols

• Elementary school setting in Cranston, Rhode Island
