Registered Nurse School Setting - Dallesport, WA

A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) position is available to support the health needs of middle school students within a K-12 educational setting in Dallesport, WA. This contract role spans the current school year and focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care to a middle school caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality nursing care to students, including health assessments, management of chronic conditions, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Develop and implement individualized health plans in collaboration with educators, parents, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate student health records and documentation.
• Provide health education to students and staff to promote wellness and prevention.
• Assist with surveillance and response to communicable diseases within the school community.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with school nursing or pediatric experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a middle school student caseload effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and families.
• Knowledge of school health policies and state nursing regulations.
• Current CPR and first aid certification.
