Per Diem School RN in Middletown, NY

We are seeking a skilled healthcare professional to provide per diem substitute nursing services within our K-12 school setting. This role offers the opportunity to support student health and wellness through a variety of clinical duties and requires a licensed professional with experience in pediatric or school nursing.

Location:

• Position based in Middletown, NY

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the health room and attending to students' medical needs
• Providing diabetic care and insulin administration as required
• Assisting with toileting and other personal care tasks
• Documenting and communicating health information to relevant school staff
• Responding to emergencies and ensuring a safe environment for all students

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New York
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric nursing preferred
• Ability to handle clinical procedures such as insulin administration and diabetic care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to student care
• Flexibility to work on a per diem basis throughout the school year
