A full-time Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide comprehensive nursing services at a high school located in Naperville, IL. This contract position is for the current school year, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM.
Responsibilities include delivering direct nursing care to students with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 plans, addressing general health concerns, and attending to sick children throughout the school day. The nurse will ensure a safe and healthy environment by managing chronic conditions, administering medications, performing health screenings, and responding to emergencies as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Knowledge of student health issues related to IEPs and 504 plans
- Ability to provide compassionate care and maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and organizational skills
