School RN in Paterson, NJ

A full-time Registered Nurse position is available in an elementary school setting in Paterson, NJ, providing an excellent opportunity to deliver dedicated healthcare services to young students. This contract role spans the current school year with a commitment from now through June 22, 2026. The nurse will work onsite during school hours, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, five days a week (35-37.5 hours).

Key responsibilities include managing students' healthcare needs with a focus on asthma care, seizure support, and medical assistance involving G-tube feedings, catheters, and toileting. The role also requires assisting with diapering, ensuring personal hygiene and comfort for students requiring additional care.

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Valid RN licensure with experience as a school nurse
• Skilled in asthma management and emergency response
• Proficient in care involving G-tube feedings, catheter maintenance, and toileting assistance
