A K-12 school in South Paris, ME, is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position from January 19 to approximately February 27. This role supports the health and well-being of approximately 445 students, including 2-3 students with diabetes and several with seizure plans. The work hours are 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM during the contract period.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing daily illnesses and injuries among students
• Administering medications as prescribed
• Providing specialized care for students with diabetes, including blood sugar monitoring and insulin administration
• Supporting students with seizure plans and other health needs as required

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with experience in school nursing preferred
• Ability to manage a large caseload and prioritize multiple health needs
• Knowledge of diabetes management and seizure protocols in a school setting
