A school psychologist position is available at an elementary school serving students ages 5-11 in Aurora, IL. This is an in-person, leave replacement contract role running from November 3, 2025, through June 5, 2026. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:20 a.m. to 2:35 p.m., totaling 35 hours per week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting initial and reevaluations for students with disabilities
- Managing 504 plans, including evaluations and facilitating reviews
- Developing functional behavior analysis and behavior intervention plans
- Collaborating with the social work team to address academic and behavioral challenges
- Participating in the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process
Experience working with students with Autism is preferred to support diverse learner needs.
Qualifications:
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
- Proven ability to complete evaluations and develop intervention plans
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
