A K-12 school in Batavia, OH is seeking a skilled and dedicated School Psychologist to provide essential support to students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being and academic success of children in a dynamic educational environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students K-12 to identify learning challenges, behavioral issues, and social-emotional needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, behavioral, or emotional difficulties
  • Assist in crisis intervention and develop strategies to promote a positive school climate
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert recommendations to support students with special needs
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records pertaining to student evaluations and interventions

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with school staff, students, and families
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and maintain a high level of organization
