An established K-12 school in Bear, DE, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist focused on middle school students (Grades 6-12) for a full-time contract position running through the 2025-2026 school year. This on-site role involves working directly with students, staff, and families to support mental health and learning needs within the school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for middle school students
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide consultation and support to staff regarding behavioral and emotional concerns
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
  • Deliver counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support student well-being
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records consistent with school policies and legal requirements

Qualifications:

  • Active Delaware School Psychologist licensure is required; please provide licensure documentation upon application
  • Preferred prior experience working in K-12 school settings
  • Strong understanding of psychological evaluation tools and educational strategies for middle school populations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to on-site work at the designated school location

Location:

  • On-site position at a middle school in Bear, DE

Schedule:

  • Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract duration: ASAP start through June 12, 2026
