This opportunity is ideal for a licensed School Psychologist seeking a contract position within a K-12 educational setting. Located in Beaufort, SC, this role offers a collaborative environment within a small district known for its family-based values. Candidates with valid School Psychologist licensure from South Carolina are preferred; however, those holding licensure from bordering states (Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee) will also be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist license from SC or bordering states (GA, NC, TN)
  • Experience working with K-12 age groups and comfortable supporting students across all grades
  • Ability to work independently while engaging collaboratively with district administration
  • Strong commitment to supporting student mental health and educational development

Location:

  • Beaufort, South Carolina (small district with family-oriented culture)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling services for students across K-12
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and well-being
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and assist in monitoring student progress
  • Utilize data and best practices to recommend supports and accommodations
  • Maintain compliance with district policies and state regulations while practicing ethical standards
