A full-semester contract opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in Bellevue, NE. This role requires a dedicated professional with expertise in school psychology to provide comprehensive psychological services that enhance student learning and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and social-emotional evaluations
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing academic, social, or emotional challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student success strategies
  • Offer crisis intervention and guidance on behavioral management techniques
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and federal regulations regarding special education services

Qualifications:

  • Valid license or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working within K-12 educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations professionally
  • Familiarity with current educational laws and policies affecting student services
