A full-time opportunity is available for a certified and licensed school psychologist to support an elementary school in Big Lake, AK, beginning immediately through May 21, 2026. This position offers a comprehensive role focused on delivering psychological services tailored to the needs of a diverse student population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and interventions to support student learning and mental health.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct crisis interventions and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 600 students, focusing primarily on elementary-level learners.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state education guidelines and certification requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold current Alaska certification and licensure as a school psychologist.
  • Proven experience in elementary school psychological services preferred.
  • Ability to work onsite full time, committing to a 7.5-hour day and 37.5 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to engage with school teams and families effectively.
  • Familiarity with the Alaska school system and regulatory standards.

Location: Big Lake, Alaska – onsite position with no virtual or voice-only options.
