A highly motivated and compassionate professional is sought to serve as a School Psychologist at an elementary school in Boston, MA. This contract position offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in supporting student development, mental health, and academic success within a dynamic educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and effectiveness of interventions
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to promote a positive school climate and address barriers to learning

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience working with elementary school-aged children
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively within a school community
  • Familiarity with laws and regulations governing special education and student services
