A school district in Boulder, Montana, is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services for students in grades K-12. This is a contract position for the current school year, offering an opportunity to support student learning, development, and well-being in an educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning needs and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and support services to students facing social, emotional, or academic difficulties
  • Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management programs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and consult regarding student progress and needs
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations in schools
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and community resources
  • Knowledge of special education laws and procedures
