A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2023-2024 school year, serving K-12 students in a contract role located in Bucyrus, Ohio. This role focuses on supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development through comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and interpret assessment results to inform instructional planning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records of all assessments and interventions.
  • Assist in the development of school-wide programs that promote positive mental health.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Ohio School Psychologist license or certification.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in school psychology or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and families.
