A school psychologist position is available serving elementary schools with caseloads in the Eloy, Maricopa, and Gilbert areas. This contract role offers the flexibility to work full-time or part-time during the school year.
Key qualifications and experience desired:
- Certification as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively
- Strong assessment and counseling skills
- Knowledge of educational and psychological evaluation techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities for working with educators, parents, and students
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students in elementary grades
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with relevant regulations and standards
This W2 contracted role offers a competitive pay range of $45 to $55 per hour and includes travel stipends when applicable. Benefit options include health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401k plan with employer matching contributions.
