A K-12 school in Central Falls, RI is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support the diverse educational and emotional needs of students throughout the academic year. This full-time contracted position offers an opportunity to apply psychological principles in a dynamic school environment, helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support student learning and behavior.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed to students.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute professional insights.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on student evaluations and interventions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals.
  • Understanding of diverse student needs, including special education requirements.

  • Central Falls, Rhode Island.

Employment Terms:

  • Contract position for the current school year.
