A school psychologist position is open for the 2025-2026 school year to support an elementary school in Chandler, AZ. This contract opportunity offers three openings across K-8 caseloads, with two full-time (40 hours per week) and one part-time (20 hours per week) roles available. The full-time schedule runs from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional meetings scheduled before or after school hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and testing for K-8 students
- Prepare detailed reports based on assessments and evaluations
- Participate in student support meetings, including IEP and team meetings
- Provide direct psychological services to students, focusing on social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other staff to support student success
- Maintain a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 50% on-site presence
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary and K-8 student populations
- Strong background in psychological assessment, report writing, and direct student support
- Ability to manage a full caseload and multitask between testing, reporting, and service delivery
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable with a hybrid schedule and flexibility for occasional before/after school meetings
