A K-12 school in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a licensed School Psychologist for the current school year on a contract basis. This role involves providing psychological services to support student learning, behavior, and mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, including cognitive, behavioral, and emotional evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to address student needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and develop IEPs
- Collect and analyze data to guide decision-making and interventions
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain documentation
Location: Charlottesville, VA
Duration: Contract for the current school year
