A full-time opportunity is available for skilled School Psychologists to support K-12 students across multiple school sites in the Chicago area. This contract position runs through the current school year until May 22, 2026, providing essential psychological services to students in both middle and elementary school settings.
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Duration: Contract through May 22, 2026
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week
Positions: 3 (1 Middle School Psychologist, 2 Elementary School Psychologists covering 4 sites)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological assessments, interventions, and counseling services for students ranging from PreK through 8th grade.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and support plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide mental health initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement in Illinois.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings, preferably across multiple grade levels.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills tailored to diverse student needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within multidisciplinary teams.
