A school district in Cleveland, OH is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to support elementary students in grades K-4 on a contract basis for the current school year. This role focuses on providing psychological services at the elementary level, with the possibility of working across one or two school buildings, depending on staffing needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations for K-4 students
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing counseling and support services to students as needed
- Assisting in crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies
- Participating in team meetings and ensuring compliance with state regulations and district policies
Preferred qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for Ohio
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads in multiple school settings if required
- Flexibility with scheduling to accommodate potential split assignments across two buildings
