Dynamic opportunity available for professional School Psychologists in Clifton, CO, within a supportive K-12 educational environment. This contract position spans the school year, focusing on enhancing student well-being and academic success through specialized psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Participate in Eligibility Determination and IEP meetings, adhering to Colorado Department of Education guidelines and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Provide short-term individual or group counseling and crisis support to students.
- Act as a key member of MTSS and RTI teams, assisting with Functional Behavior Assessments and contributing to Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Support initiatives related to social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records and reports.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Eligibility for a Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with endorsement in School Psychology.
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills, with a focus on culturally responsive practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a K–12 public school setting.
- Familiarity with data systems used in Colorado schools, such as Infinite Campus and ICAP.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
