Dynamic opportunity available for professional School Psychologists in Clifton, CO, within a supportive K-12 educational environment. This contract position spans the school year, focusing on enhancing student well-being and academic success through specialized psychological services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Participate in Eligibility Determination and IEP meetings, adhering to Colorado Department of Education guidelines and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Provide short-term individual or group counseling and crisis support to students.
  • Act as a key member of MTSS and RTI teams, assisting with Functional Behavior Assessments and contributing to Behavior Intervention Plans.
  • Support initiatives related to social-emotional learning and trauma-informed practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Eligibility for a Colorado Department of Education Special Services License with endorsement in School Psychology.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills, with a focus on culturally responsive practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a K–12 public school setting.
  • Familiarity with data systems used in Colorado schools, such as Infinite Campus and ICAP.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
